I fed Claude 200 YouTube videos on sales and GTM. It came back with 10 skills.

The 20 most-watched videos on each part of selling, from cold email to pricing. Every piece of advice kept only if its exact quote exists in the transcript. Then counted: how many of the 20 say the same thing.

Each skill weights every rule by that count, and where the experts disagree, it hands you both versions to test instead of trusting one guru.

Even the strongest rule only hit 11 of 20. One video gives you an opinion. Twenty give you the odds.

How it was built
  1. Find the videos. YouTube search sorted by views over the past year, English subtitles, 3 to 60 minutes. Claude screens the titles and drops anything off topic.
  2. Keep the top 20 by views from the last 6 months, widened to 12 months where the topic needed it.
  3. Extract. Claude Sonnet pulls every concrete piece of advice from each transcript, each with a verbatim quote. 4,451 items.
  4. Verify. Every quote is searched in its transcript. 4,051 found and kept.
  5. Group and count. Claude Opus groups equivalent advice into themes. The number of videos per theme is counted by script, not by the model.
  6. Write the skill from the counted data: rules by weight, disagreements to A/B test, steps, and what never to invent.

Run it on any topic

The pipeline is in pipeline/. Add a topic, a few search terms and a title filter, then run it. You need an Apify token and the Claude CLI.

Read these first

  • "Most-watched" means within what YouTube search returns, not an official ranking.
  • Positioning videos are small (24K views in total). Lead magnets is the noisiest set, with the weakest top rule (5/20).
  • One or two supporting quotes per theme can be borderline. Treat a gap of 1 or 2 videos as noise.
